In light of the Coronavirus outbreak in China, IRMTNZ advises members to take special precautions with students who have arrived from China within the last fortnight. We suggest that students stay away from lessons for 14 days following their arrival from China, and that this also applies to students who may have been exposed to the virus on their travels to other countries.

If you have any concerns the Ministry of Health suggests that you contact Healthline at 0800 611 116 or your GP for medical advice. Healthline has translators and interpreters available 24/7 in 150 languages, including Mandarin and Cantonese speaking staff.
